It's been so lovely to hear this inspiring young woman grow through the years. This is just the latest stage of her ever increasing freedom and brilliance.

I’ve been a swiftie since she first came on the radio with Tim McGraw and Teardrops on my Guitar, and I’ve always loved her music. I think this may be the most obsessed I’ve ever been with an album though, it’s so lovey, beautifully composed, and well written. Well done Taylor 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thanks Taylor, remember to keep being you and to ignore the haters: they obviously don’t notice talent when it’s prevalent. I love you and your music! ❤️
  • Get cozy...

Ok get cozy I’ma go on a rant... 1. I don’t hate this album, TBH it’s better than reputation. Yes I just sait it was good but this is a 3 ⭐️ review. I, being a Christian, am against the LGBTQ. But not enough to make me hate the music, it’s a really good BOP. But...( there’s always a but) Me is a bit childish for Taylor. The fact that Taylor is so open about what she thinks is fine, but there is nothing wrong with Christians standing up for what we believe, aka that LGBT is wrong. But that’s just my opinion. Taylor is right is the sense that we need more love in this world, in this country we have freedom of speech, so there is nothing wrong with Taylor speaking what she thinks, but there is also nothing wrong with people saying what they think about what she’s saying. As a Christian we do not hate gays or lesbians, we just do not support them. I have several family and friends that are gay, that doesn’t mean I hate them, it just means I don’t support what they think. They are still family to me and I still love them just as much as any of may straight friends of family. We all need to get over it and stop arguing and fighting over who is right and who is wrong. Taylor is speaking a lot of politics and things in her songs and I would kinda enjoy just a song, without all the political crap, I have enough politics to think about. I listen to music to escape the world. Taylor just magnifies the things going on Overall, not a horrible album I just think Taylor needs to grow up a bit (not too much though, being a kid is fun!!) and just sing. NOT about politics. LOL congrats if you made it this far👏🏻💜 Thanks for hearing what I had to say!!

taylor always puts EVERYTHING into her music and it shows. “luck of the draw only draws the unlucky, and so i became the butt of the joke. i wounded the good and i trusted the wicked. clearing the air, i breathed in the smoke.”who writes lyrics like this?? absolutely beautiful. each line has some twisted complexity that can relate to anyone. that is the reason her music is so incredible. it’s relatable. she makes it personal but in ways that makes you understand. the lyrics bring out memories and then start to paint beautiful murals in your mind. every lyric and thought connected. “barefoot in the kitchen, sacred new beginnings that became my religion. listen...”these lyrics brought out the memories of my first love, and then instantly painted a picture of what that could have been like. they all have a way of hitting close to home and in my opinion that makes the song mean more to me because it’s one thing to listen to a deep love song and only see it from the surface. it’s ANOTHER thing to instantly feel connected to the song. taylor has a way of making you nostalgic for memories you DON’T have. i’m only a teenager and listening to the song lover makes me feel as if i’m looking back on memories of my wedding... i’m obviously not married. i love being able to listen to an album that makes me feel something. lover isn’t just an album. it’s a collection of memories and beautiful times, no matter how sad or happy. if there’s one thing that this album taught me, it’s that there is love and beauty in everything. through every trial and hard time you can always turn to your lover.
