Omg Halsey your like my spirit animal or something lol when it comes to men! I swear it’s almost the same story to a T. I pray I get to see you in concert in Utah! I would give anything for it! I’ve been listening to you sense your first ep and I can’t stop! Now or never is my favorite song and nightmare is the anthem to my life. Please never stop singing!

I see so many 1 star reviews from people expecting a certain sound. Regardless of what genre she gets classified or even aims for her music is poetry. I love her work and want nothing more than to let her know how much her work means to me on a personal level. This album dropped during a time that I currently am going through in which I can relate, and it gives me a certain level of peace that I’m not alone. It puts my feelings in words that I can’t find on my own. She is an artist above all and her music is perfect the way it is. It’s something people can relate to and tells tales of the artist who wrote it. The only song that miffed me was “SUGA’s Interlude” which has a rapper from another country rapping in that native language... I think? I dunno. That song was odd. I’m fine with it but it certainly felt out of place and odd. I certainly do like knowing what is being said in the music I listen to especially when the lyrics are the core focus.

This album is amazing. I’ve been listening to her since Badlands and it’s been awesome to hear her sound grow and change

From the lyrics to the genre experimentation, Manic delivers. A raw, vulnerable side of Halsey comes out in this album particularly in the songs More, I HATE EVERYBODY, clementine, and Still Learning. Great album across the board.

Whoever doesn’t like this album does not understand the gravity of the words and meanings behind every single song. It’s as if halsey has pulled every single feeling out of her body and put it on 16 tracks for our ears to hear. This album is not like any other I’ve heard. It’s deep, it’s raw, it’s personal, it’s emotional. Some parts make you laugh and dance to the beat and other parts make you want to burst into tears from the weight of emotions you feel hearing the words she is singing. I give halsey ultimate props for this album! It definitely does not deserve all the hate being received. PS Nightmare wasn’t included because it doesn’t fit the sound and style of this album at ALL! And she said in an interview, she doesn’t feel angry anymore so she decided to go a different direction with the album. It has nothing to do with numbers.

One of a kind, amazing voice, in concert she sings live (no lip syncing) and sounds amazing!
